Four-year-old pedestrian in critical condition after central Hamilton crash
by Sebastian Bron - Spectator Reporter from on (#612V9)
A four-year-old boy was seriously injured Monday afternoon after being struck by a car in central Hamilton.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Sherman Avenue North near Case and Clinton streets around 5:30 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian-involved collision.
Supt. Dave Thompson of the Hamilton Paramedic Service said the child pedestrian was taken to hospital in critical condition. No other patients were treated on scene.
Hamilton police, who didn't respond to The Spectator's calls, have closed traffic on Sherman from Case to Clinton.
