Los Angeles Rams' All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey posted a series of tweets on Friday highlighting his career accomplishments and demanding more respect from people around the NFL.

Ramsey's reaction comes after ESPN's Jeremy Fowler published a cornerback ranking made by executives, coaches, and players in which an AFC exec called Ramsey "overrated."

Other veteran corners also joined the debate, including Aqib Talib and Richard Sherman.

"I just want people to start respecting greatness all around," Ramsey wrote.

It's only like 2 in HISTORY with a resume like mine in 6 years

AND YOU WAS THAT DUDE TOO! I just want people to start respecting greatness all around.

100% y'all can! That's greatness tho! In my opinion, y'all both HOF! My first 6 years compared to yours, I'm up 1 pro bowl but yo numbers crazy! My first 6 compared to P2, he up 1 pro bowl, but his 1st All Pro was as a returner, not cb. People should respect the greatness of all!

Sherman then supported Ramsey, tweeting, "You are demanding what you deserve."

Ramsey was still the No. 1 corner on Fowler's rankings, but multiple voters ranked him outside the top five.

"I think he's falling off and a little overrated at this point," an AFC exec said.

"Super Bowl, to me, is an indication of what it's going to look like moving forward," the exec added, referring to multiple big plays that Ramsey allowed in Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ramsey has widely been considered the NFL's best cornerback for many years. The 27-year-old, who the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted fifth overall in 2016, didn't earn a Pro Bowl berth as a rookie, but he's since claimed five consecutive all-star nods.

The Florida State product, who joined the Rams in 2019 via trade, was voted a first-team All-Pro in each of the last two seasons. He's averaged 54 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and three interceptions per 17 games since 2020 while allowing a 69.9 passer rating.
