No one was seriously injured after a school bus carrying 27 passengers collided with a tow truck hauling a GO Transit bus on Highway 403 in Burlington on Thursday afternoon.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the crash happened around 3 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 403 near Waterdown Road.
It's unclear what caused the collision. Schmidt said the GO bus was vacant and the school bus contained 27 passengers that included children.
Police blocked all eastbound lanes on the 403 at Waterdown to remove the vehicles, reopening them to traffic nearly five hours later around 7:50 p.m.
