Two dead, one rushed to hospital in overnight shooting at Vaughan nightclub
Two men are dead and a third victim is in hospital following an overnight shooting at a Vaughan nightclub.
According to York Region police, at approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a shooting at Highway 7 and Keele Street. When officers arrived they found three victims with gunshot wounds, police said.
A 25-year-old and a 22-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A 20-year-old female victim was rushed to hospital suffering from a serious gunshot wound and is recovering in hospital.
The suspect or suspects fled before officers arrived, police said.
Officers are appealing to any witnesses who may have been in the area or in the establishment at the time who have not yet spoken to police to please come forward.
