T-Mobile to pay $350M to settle a class-action lawsuit following 2021 data breach

T-Mobile suffered a massive data breach in August of 2021 with the data of 76.6 million customers going up for sale. The carrier has agreed to pay $350 million to pay the lawyers, fees, and customers involved. It also must spend $150 million upgrading its security over 2022 and 2023.
