Home theatres. Saltwater pools. Private trails. Here are some of the most expensive homes in the Hamilton and Burlington area
An Ancaster villa with nearly a dozen bedrooms and a 14-car garage. A Burlington mansion with a home theatre and a saltwater pool. A Mount Hope century home sitting on property that's touted for future development.
These are just some of the properties in the Hamilton and Burlington area housing market that are listed for more than $6.5 million - and considered to be some of the most lavish homes in the region.
Even as the market cools and home prices drop, many of the listings have hung onto their premium price tags.
The Spectator scoured Realtor's multi-listing platform for the most expensive homes in the area as of this week. Some parcels of land are listed for more than the ones we included, but have yet to be developed and are being sold without much focus on the current home on the property.
