Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jalen Reagor is competing for a role on the roster in training camp, according to head coach Nick Sirianni.

"He's battling for a spot," Sirianni said Saturday. "He is working with the (second team) right now."

The coach added he's been impressed with what he's seen out of Reagor so far.

"He's gotten a lot of balls over the last two days," Sirianni said. "He's done a nice job. He's battling for a spot. He's battling for a return spot. He's worked hard in the offseason to come back in great shape. That's something that we all noticed in the conditioning tests."

The No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 draft, Reagor has struggled to live up to his billing. He's compiled 695 receiving yards over his two NFL seasons, recording only 299 yards and two scores in 2021.

General manager Howie Roseman said in May that the Eagles remained committed to the 23-year-old despite reports about the team being open to trade offers for him.

A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith headline Philadelphia's wide receiver room. The remainder of the depth chart includes Reagor, Quez Watkins, Greg Ward, and Zach Pascal, among others.
