Man found dead in Milton parking lot

Halton Regional Police are investigating a death in Milton Sunday afternoon (Aug. 7).

Halton police say the incident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. when officers and Halton Region paramedics were called to a parking lot of the Robert Edmondson Conservation Area for a report of a man without vital signs in a vehicle.

The man has since been pronounced dead at the scene, emergency officials said.

Officers are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death.

The incident comes in the midst of a heat wave that hit the region this weekend, with humidex values hitting 40.
