Merseyside police searching for gunman after abhorrent crime' at property in Knotty Ash
Police in Liverpool are hunting for a gunman who entered a house and fatally shot a nine-year-old girl in the chest.
Two other people were taken to hospital with gunshot injuries after the incident on Monday evening, the latest in a number of killings involving guns and knives on Merseyside over the last week.
