Highway construction is expected to cause heavy traffic in downtown Hamilton this weekend

The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has several "rehabilitation work" projects planned this weekend. The construction will close down two on ramps and several portions of road, including Macklin Rd. and Old Guelph Rd. Drivers will be detouring onto the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway and traffic jams in downtown.
