Two arrested after gunpoint robbery in Norfolk County
Police in Norfolk County have made two arrests after a resident was robbed at gunpoint in Delhi last Thursday.
According to police, the victim went to an address in Delhi where they were assaulted and robbed in the early hours of Aug. 25.
Police allege a 40-year-old Norfolk man pulled a gun and threatened the victim before taking several unspecified items.
The victim suffered what police described as minor injuries from the fight.
Police were called the next afternoon and by Monday had two people in custody.
The alleged robber is charged with assault with a weapon, weapons possession, forcible confinement and possessing stolen property over $5,000.
A 43-year-old Norfolk woman is also charged with forcible confinement and possessing stolen property.
A court date in Simcoe is pending for the two accused.
