Hamilton police came across a crash overnight on a westbound Lincoln Alexander Parkway off-ramp.

Police tweeted that a single-vehicle crash was spotted on the Upper Gage ramp just before 11 p.m.

Emergency services located the 16-year-old driver laying on the grass, they were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Upper Gage exit was closed for approximately five hours before reopening around 4 a.m.

Photos from the scene show a car with a damaged front end, flipped upside down.
