Swoop launches winter schedule with new destinations from Hamilton
Ahead of the onset of winter, Swoop has announced new stops and increased frequency of flights from Hamilton to some tropical destinations - but also at least one less-tropical one.
In an Aug. 31 statement, the low-fare Canadian airline said that due to the success of Swoop's first route between St. John's, N.L., and Hamilton this summer, they are extending the service to run year-round.
Flights from St. John's to Hamilton will run through the winter six days a week, except for Fridays. One-way fares start at $99.
We know that choice and value are important to Canadians planning vacations," said Swoop's Tia McGrath in the release. So we have several options available for our ultra-not-expensive flights to be packaged with all-inclusive resorts or vacation properties."
As part of its expanding winter schedule, Swoop is restarting service to some of its popular routes out of Hamilton on Dec. 8 - including Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Flights from Hamilton to other destinations, such as Orlando, Fla., Mexico and Las Vegas, will also run three to four times weekly.
