Evidence suggests hospital not appropriately staffed on night of Aishwarya Aswath's death, deputy state coroner says

The coroner investigating the sepsis death of Aishwarya Aswath at Perth Children's hospital has highlighted missed opportunities by staff to save her life.

Seven-year-old Aishwarya was left in a waiting room for more than 90 minutes upon presenting at the hospital on Easter Saturday last year with a fever, despite her parents pleading with staff to escalate care.
