Hamilton police searching for missing man in area of Safari Road

Hamilton police are searching for a missing 44-year-old man in the area of Safari Road in Millgrove.

Robert King went out on his Rhino Yamaha side-by-side around 6:30 p.m. Monday and has not returned, said Const. Krista-Lee Ernst.

Hamilton police were called around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday and have been looking for him through the night. With the sun up they are doing a ground search and will be stationed at a property on Safari near Highway 6.

It's not clear how far he may have travelled. Police are asking anyone in the area to check their properties, Ernst said.

Anyone searching in the area is asked to check in with police at 591 Safari Rd.

There will be a heavy police presence in the area.
