'Arrested in the parking lot': Incident at Burlington school under investigation

According to a notification sent out to students and families at Aldershot School Tuesday night, an individual "who is not part of our school community" was "arrested in the parking lot" of the school Tuesday afternoon following an incident involving Aldershot students, according to principal Rebecca Newcombe. Halton police are investigating, Newcombe said in the email.
"As this is a police matter, further information will be shared by police as required. We will notify families if there are updates," she said. "The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our highest priority. We appreciate the quick response of Halton police."
