An Oakville teen is facing stunt driving and other charges and they are not even a full-time driver yet.
The G2 driver was running late for their driving test Thursday (Sept. 9), according to Halton police, and "were speeding to get there."
The officer clocked the vehicle at 113 km/h in a 60 km/h zone in the area of Neyagawa Boulevard and Gardenbrook Avenue.
"Luckily they didn't crash," Halton police said in a tweet.
The driver has lost his licence for 30 days and the vehicle will be impounded for 14 days due to the stunt driving charge.
The incident prompted some on social media to lament the incident.
"Those are highway speeds," said Melissa Pescuses.
