Fujitsu Develops Optical Tech Unlocking 1.2 Tbps per Wavelength

Fujitsu has announced a breakthrough, photonics-based transmission system that can reach 1.2 Tbps transfers per wavelength while also reaching four times farther than current technology without signal degradation. The company plans to commercialize the technology by 2023.
