'Major' crash on Highway 403 in Burlington causing serious traffic issues

The OPP and other emergency responders are on scene of a nasty crash on Highway 403 in Burlington Friday (Sept. 16) that is causing major traffic back-ups.

The crash occurred on the westbound Highway 403 near Waterdown Road just after 5:30 a.m. and as a result, the left shoulder and left lane are closed.

Halton Region Paramedics are on scene.

A Waze user on 511 Ontario reported the collision to be a "major crash."
