The Indianapolis Colts will be without another key starter in Week 2.

Indianapolis has ruled out wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a quad injury, the team announced Saturday.

Pittman, the team's No. 1 pass-catcher, was initially listed as questionable after missing practice Thursday and Friday.

The 24-year-old put on a show in his team's season-opening tie against the Houston Texans, catching nine passes for 121 yards and one touchdown. He led the Colts in targets (129), receptions (88), receiving yards (1,082), and touchdown catches (six) last year.

Indianapolis had already ruled out All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard and second-round rookie receiver Alec Pierce for Week 2 due to a back injury and a concussion, respectively. Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner is listed as questionable with a hip ailment.

With Pittman and Pierce sidelined, Parris Campbell and Ashton Dulin will headline the Colts' wide receiver depth chart. Dulin caught three passes for 46 yards in Week 1, while Campbell had 37 yards on three receptions. Running back Nyheim Hines ranked second on the team with six catches and 50 yards against Houston.

Indy also elevated wide receiver Keke Coutee and kicker Chase McLaughlin to the active roster from the practice squad. McLaughlin beat out Lucas Havrisik for the starting job after the Colts released Rodrigo Blankenship on Tuesday.
