18-year-old arrested in Brantford homicide

Brantford police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with another man's death following a disturbance at a residence Thursday night.

In a press release, police said officers responded to an incident at a home on Henry Street, near Stanley Street in Brantford, around 7:30 p.m.

Emergency services found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital but later died. No further details about the victim were provided.

Police said an 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene. It's believed there is no threat to public safety as a result of this incident," according to police.

The relationship, if any, between the two men is unclear.

The investigation is ongoing.
