Denver Broncos outside linebacker Randy Gregory will miss at least the next four games after being placed on injured reserve Tuesday, the team announced.

Gregory, who'll be eligible to return in Week 10, is set to undergo a knee scope, head coach Nathaniel Hackett told reporters Monday.

The 29-year-old could miss up to six weeks depending on his recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Gregory was carted off the field after being examined in the team's medical tent during the second half of Sunday's 32-23 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

His ACL is intact based on imaging, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, and the surgery will trim the meniscus in his injured knee.

Gregory signed a five-year, $70-million contract with the Broncos in March. Prior to joining the AFC club, he was a member of the Dallas Cowboys dating back to 2015. The former second-round selection tallied 85 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, and 16.5 sacks during his Dallas tenure.

The star pass-rusher has recorded nine tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss, and seven QB hits in four games this season.

While Denver expects Gregory to return to the field this year, the Broncos learned Monday that running back Javonte Williams will reportedly miss the rest of the 2022 season after suffering a torn ACL and LCL in Week 4.
