A new spot for steaming hot pho and fresh spring rolls has opened on the Hamilton Mountain.

Em oi! Restaurant, which promises to serve up Vietnamese cuisine with a twist," marked its first service on Sunday, Oct. 2, according to its website.

The menu features a variety of offerings, including mango salad, curries, stir-fry, noodle dishes, rice dishes, hot pot and dumplings.

The restaurant is also serving single-filter Vietnamese coffee, durian smoothies and coconut sorbet, while the executive breakfast" will be available soon.

The Upper Wellington Street eatery is located in the former home of Conquistador, which served Portuguese eats for more than a decade before closing in February 2021.
