Country fun at the Norfolk fair
by Barry Gray - Photojournalist from on (#64EMY)
Ontario's oldest agricultural fair is back.
The Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show, a weeklong celebration of agriculture, country life and a heaping helping of fun, runs through Thanksgiving Monday at the fairgrounds in Simcoe.
Attendees can see livestock, demonstrations, a huge midway, entertainment and, of course, candy apples, cotton candy and all the other fair food we love.
From a record-smashing pumpkin weighing just shy of 2,000 pounds, to high divers and musical acts including the Hunter Brothers and Walk Off the Earth, there is something for everyone.
