No. 17 TCU defeated No. 19 Kansas on the road in a wild game, 38-31. TCU led 10-3 at the half, before both teams exploded for a combined six touchdowns in the third quarter alone. A clutch drive from TCU QB Max Duggan with less than four minutes to play ended in a dime to Quentin Johnson. Duggan finished with 308 pass yards and three touchdowns. Kansas star QB Jalon Daniels was injured in the second quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the game. Backup Jason Bean came in and finished with 262 pass yards and four touchdowns.
