Los Angeles Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson suffered a dislocated kneecap in Sunday's 37-23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Jackson will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the damage to his knee, Rapoport adds.

The star cornerback was carted off with an air cast on his right leg after going down awkwardly on a touchdown pass to Seahawks receiver Marquise Goodwin in the second quarter.

Wide receiver Mike Williams also suffered an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. He was carted to the locker room from the sideline after being helped off the field by trainers in the fourth quarter, according to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry. Williams couldn't put any weight on his right leg exiting the field.

Jackson is in the midst of a difficult first season in Los Angeles. The Chargers benched Jackson for the entire second half and overtime during the team's Week 6 victory over the Denver Broncos.

Los Angeles signed Jackson to a five-year, $82.5-million deal in the offseason. The 26-year-old recorded 17 interceptions over the previous two seasons with the New England Patriots. He also led the league with 23 passes defended in 2021.
