The Indianapolis Colts traded running back Nyheim Hines to the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday.

The Colts will receive running back Zack Moss and a conditional sixth-round draft pick that can become a fifth-rounder, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports.

Hines was a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He joins a running back room that includes Devin Singletary and rookie James Cook.

The 25-year-old brings a unique skill set to the Bills' offense. He should help quarterback Josh Allen on third down, as he has 1,725 receiving yards in his five-year career.

Hines is signed through the 2024 season. He agreed to a three-year, $18.6-million contract extension with the Colts in September 2021.

Moss, a third-round pick in the 2020 draft, struggled to get playing time. He has 17 carries for 91 yards this season.
