Giants GM: I'll speak with Odell when he's healthy
New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen left open the possibility of reuniting with free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. down the road.
"He's been a good player," Schoen said Tuesday, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. "He's a guy we would consider and talk to when he's healthy."
Beckham, who is working his way back from a torn ACL suffered in the Super Bowl, dropped by the Giants' facility to visit former teammates in October. Schoen said he was unaware Beckham was there until after he had left.
It was previously reported the LSU product is targeting a mid-November return.
The 29-year-old spent his first five seasons with the Giants after they drafted him 12th overall in 2014. He began his tenure with three consecutive Pro Bowl campaigns before being dealt to the Cleveland Browns in 2019.
He was picked up by the Los Angeles Rams midseason last year after the Browns cut him, and he played a crucial role in the Rams' journey to Super Bowl LVI.
