Jerry Jones would love seeing Odell Beckham Jr. playing for his Dallas Cowboys.

"Odell is someone that we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor. I know the Cowboys star on that helmet when he puts it on could look pretty good," Jones said Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan.

Reports have surfaced recently about Dallas' interest in pursuing the free-agent receiver once he's cleared from an ACL tear suffered in the Super Bowl. Beckham is reportedly eyeing an early December return.

Jones also expressed confidence in the Cowboys' receiving corps led by CeeDee Lamb, pointing out that an improving Michael Gallup and James Washington's return should also help.

"I really like where we are with our receiving core. Of course, we got Washington coming back. And that's big. We've got Gallup, who in my mind is just getting better, at the level we would expect him to be," Jones said. "Lamb, we think he's everything we wanted out of our No. 1 receiver."

Beckham recently mentioned the Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, and New York Giants when discussing his potential return in an interview with Complex Sports.

Star linebacker Micah Parsons also expressed his satisfaction with the potential of Beckham joining Dallas, telling the wideout to "talk to me" in a tweet Tuesday.

Beckham spent the first five seasons of his career playing in the NFC East with the Giants, where he made three Pro Bowls.
