Cyclist seriously hurt in crash at King and Wentworth
Hamilton police are investigating after a cyclist was seriously hurt in a crash at King Street East and Wentworth Street North Tuesday.
The 53-year-old Hamilton man was riding his bicycle west on King when shortly before 5 p.m. he collided with a 2006 Smart car that was southbound on Wentworth, police said.
The cyclist was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car, a 31-year-old Hamilton woman, remained at the scene and is co-operating with investigators, police said.
The crash is being investigated by the collision reconstruction unit.
