High school sports in photos: Tonnos defeats More to take junior basketball title

Bishop Tonnos junior girls basketball team fought hard in a tightly contested matchup to defeat St. Thomas More 53-46 to take the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) title Tuesday.

Tonnos defeated last year's champions at home.

The lead changed hands several times in the closing quarter, but in the end, Tonnos held on to hoist the trophy.
