Hamilton police investigating sexual assault in area of Catherine and Robert streets
Hamilton police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted Saturday night.
Police said in a release the assault occurred in the area of Catherine and Robert streets, south of Barton Street East, around 7 p.m. Nov. 26.
No one has been arrested.
Police are asking nearby homes and businesses to review their surveillance cameras between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for suspicious activity.
Police describe a suspect in the assault as a dark skinned male, around six-foot with a skinny build and a facial scar running from his mouth to his right ear.
