Why didn't credit union do more to help grandfather scammed out of $28.5K, family asks

Philip Ali, 88, was scammed out of $28,500 by a group of fraudsters pretending to be RCMP officers and a judge. The scammers told Ali he had to pay them large sums of money to ensure his grandson wouldn't be put in jail for drug and weapon charges.
