Nick Robertson's bad luck on the injury front continues.

The Maple Leafs forward is projected to miss six-to-eight weeks due to a shoulder ailment he suffered in Thursday's win over the Los Angeles Kings, head coach Sheldon Keefe said Saturday, according to the Toronto Sun's Terry Koshan. He'll forgo surgery and undergo rehab.

Robertson left the contest after Kings defenseman Matt Roy hit him up high in the first period. The hit occurred on Robertson's fourth shift, and he didn't return. The officials handed Roy a minor penalty.

Robertson has been limited to 15 NHL games and two AHL tilts this season. The 21-year-old suffered a broken leg in October 2021 while playing for the latter's Toronto Marlies.

He scored two goals, including the overtime winner, in his 2022-23 season debut against the Dallas Stars and his brother, Jason, on Oct. 20. Those are his only NHL tallies this season to go along with just three assists.

The Leafs drafted Robertson 53rd overall in 2019.
