Senior dies after early December collision
A Hamilton senior has died of his injuries in the wake of a single vehicle crash in early December.
In a press release Tuesday, Hamilton police said the 91-year-old man was driving on Dragoon Drive on the central Mountain around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 when he struck a parked car and his vehicle came to rest on its roof."
The man was removed from his vehicle and taken to hospital with what were thought to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
However, on Monday, the coroner's office contacted investigators to advise them the man had died of injuries sustained in the crash.
