Report: Ravens' Huntley named 4th Pro Bowl alternate despite not throwing TD

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley was voted as the AFC's fourth alternate Pro Bowl quarterback despite failing to throw a touchdown in his two starts this season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Lamar Jackson - who will miss his third straight game Saturday due to a knee injury - is the third alternate, opening up the possibility the Ravens could be the first team ever to send two quarterbacks to the Pro Bowl, according to Schefter.

That would require multiple other quarterbacks to drop out of the revamped Pro Bowl. Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow were named as the conference's top three quarterbacks. Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert were picked as the primary two alternates.

In four appearances in 2022, Huntley has thrown for 413 yards and zero touchdowns to two interceptions while adding 87 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

The Ravens' backup signal-caller finished Pro Bowl voting above the likes of Trevor Lawrence and Derek Carr. Lawrence has thrown for 24 touchdowns against seven interceptions, while Carr has tossed 23 scores against 11 picks.
