Boxing Day 10-miler got its 100th finish — finally!

The Boxing Day Run finally held its 100th event Monday.

The Hamilton Christmastime running tradition was postponed for two years during the pandemic.

Both 10 and 4 mile races - and festive holiday spirits - returned for the centenary event.

Hussein Hashi finished the 10-mile distance in 53:58. Carmen Hussar was first female, eighth overall, in at 58:49. There were 296 finishers in the 10-mile event.

Miles Brackenbury finished the 4-miler in 20:38. Carley Somerset was seventh overall, first female, at 24:41. There were 145 finishers for the 4-miler.
