The Arizona Cardinals will start quarterback David Blough against the Atlanta Falcons after Colt McCoy began reexperiencing concussion symptoms, head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Friday.

Trace McSorley started in Arizona's Week 16 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

McSorley completed 24 of 45 attempts for 217 yards and an interception against the Buccaneers, but Kingsbury is opting to switch to Blough, who has yet to attempt a pass for the Cardinals in a regular season game.

Blough started five games for the Detroit Lions in 2019. He completed 54% of his passes for 984 yards, four touchdowns, and six interceptions. The Lions lost all five of those starts.
