2022 year in review: Through the lens of photojournalist John Rennison

Capturing a surreal moment requires a lot of things to line up perfectly.

The serendipity of one moment required Hamilton's own Blake Moynes, winner of the The Bachelorette," to come to town for an environmental awareness beach cleanup. Then someone had to previously have discarded a dozen red roses on said beach. Then someone needs to realize the hilarity of the situation and bring a rose to Moynes, just as was done on the reality TV show. Then Spectator photographer John Rennison had to be there to snap the moment.
