A smaller price had a big payoff for Oakville's James Makarowycz.
Makarowycz, a regular lottery player, likes to play Ontario 49 because of its $1 ticket price. And he was rewarded with the second prize in the Nov. 12 draw - $50,000.
The 65-year-old machinist said there are likely some vacations in his future.
This will help us do some things we couldn't do before," he said. We'll do some travelling and cruises."
Makarowycz bought his winning ticket at Petro Canada on Iroquois Shore Road in Oakville.
