Environment Canada has ended a fog advisory for the Hamilton area that was issued Wednesday morning.
The advisory, issued around 6 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m., warned that near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring."
Fog was heavy mainly in areas on the Hamilton Mountain.
During fog advisories, Environment Canada said drivers should expect hazardous travel, and can expect visibility to suddenly reduce to near zero in some areas. If you encounter reduced visibility, slow down, watch for tail lights and be prepared to stop.
