Worker critically injured, homes evacuated after industrial explosion and fire in St. Catharines, Ont.

A man was critically injured and another person was taken to hospital as emergency crews responded to a series of explosions and fire at a hazardous waste facility in St. Catharines, Ont., on Thursday. Nearby homes and business were evacuated, but people were allowed to return to their homes later in the day.
