Hamilton public schools, child-care centres closed as significant snowfall 'continues to restrict travel'

Hamiltonians woke up Thursday to an ice and snow-covered city after a 'Texas low' dumped more than 17 centimetres of snow across the city and most of Southern Ontario on Wednesday. Some schools are closed while others will remain open, where parents and guardians will decide if it's safe to send their children.
