"I want to be great at what I do. ... Talking even last week with the people at Fox Sports, you know, and the leadership there and allowing me to start my Fox opportunity in the fall of 2024 is something that's great for me," Brady said. "Take some time to really learn, become great at what I want to do, become great at, you know, thinking about the opportunity, and make sure I don't rush into anything."

Brady signed a 10-year, $375-million deal with Fox Sports in 2022 to become its lead NFL analyst alongside Kevin Burkhardt, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

The 45-year-old retired from the NFL "for good" on Feb. 1, capping off a remarkable 23-year career. Brady is the league's all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns.

Brady starting his Fox career in 2024 opened the door for questions about his potential NFL return in 2023.

When asked if there's even a 1% chance he'll unretire, Brady said, "I think for me, I know in my heart how I feel. I put it out on the field for 23 years, and I'm super proud of what's been accomplished," according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

"You know, I just wanted to keep last week really short and sweet, and I felt like I've given a lot, I've gained a lot. I've learned a lot. And life is about, you know, exciting things ahead," Brady added.

Burkhardt is set to call the Super Bowl on Fox with analyst Greg Olsen.
