UPDATED: Hamilton police say death not suspicious after body found in water

Hamilton police say the death of a person discovered in the water near Pier 8 Tuesday morning is not suspicious.
Police responded to the waterfront around 8 a.m. after a witness reported seeing something floating in Hamilton Harbour, said Const. Indy Bharaj. Emergency services recovered the body by about 8:30 a.m.
By Tuesday afternoon, police said the person had been identified. The investigation is complete and the death was deemed non-suspicious.
