Kernel prepatch 6.2-rc8

The eighthand presumably final 6.2 kernel prepatch has been released.

The 6.2 series continues to be fairly calm, and the only realreason for an rc8 is - as now mentioned several times - just tomake up for some time during the holiday season. Not that we seemto really have needed it, but there was also no real reason todeviate from the plan. So here we are.
