Pedestrian gravely injured in hit-and-run crash in Dunnville
Ontario provincial police in Haldimand are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
After 8 p.m. Friday, first responders were called to Broad Street East, east of Chestnut Street in Dunnville following reports of a collision.
A driver hit a pedestrian and then left the scene of the crash, OPP said in a Friday evening media release.
The victim was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital in life-threatening condition.
Police are looking for a small, white sport utility vehicle with possible passenger-side damage," connected to the collision.
