Sources: Seahawks sign Geno Smith to 3-year, $105M deal
The Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Geno Smith have agreed to a three-year, $105-million deal, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.
The Seahawks later confirmed the signing but didn't specify the terms of the deal.

Smith, 32, put together a 2022 season to remember after winning the Seahawks' starting job following the offseason trade of longtime quarterback Russell Wilson. In his first year as a full-time starter since 2014, Smith earned a Pro Bowl invitation and led Seattle to a postseason appearance after compiling a 9-8 record.
"He's kept his mouth shut the past three years, played behind Russ," Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf told Schultz at the Super Bowl. "This past season when they traded Russ, he didn't skip a beat. He didn't miss a beat with me or Tyler (Lockett). Just took the keys to the offense and just ran with it."
Smith, who served as a backup to Wilson in 2020 and '21, established new single-season franchise records in passing yards (4,282) and completion percentage (69.8%) last season.
The 2013 second-round pick said last month he wanted to finish his career in Seattle as a way to repay the team's faith.
Smith spent time with the New York Jets, New York Giants, and Los Angeles Chargers before signing with the Seahawks.
