Fire department called to Canada Post plant in Stoney Creek over white powder

A call about a hazardous material at the Canada Post mail processing plant in Stoney Creek early Tuesday ended without incident.
The Hamilton Fire Department said it was called to the Millen Road facility shortly before 4 a.m. for a report of a white powder found in a trailer.
HAZMAT teams responded, took samples and screened for harmful compounds, the fire department said. None were identified.
Hamilton police said the building was partially evacuated while emergency services were on-site.
The scene was cleared shortly after 6 a.m.
