Driver strikes two cruisers while evading police in Kitchener

KITCHENER - A driver on the run from police hit two cruisers before driving off down a residential street in the Centreville Chicopee neighbourhood.
On Thursday at around 3:10 p.m., officers with the Waterloo Regional Police tried to pull over the driver of a Ford Focus near Kinzie and Thaler avenues.
During the attempted traffic stop, the driver struck two police cruisers while escaping in their vehicle, police said. No injuries were reported.
The Ford was last seen headed south on Thaler Avenue.
